We offer a variety of different trips to accommodate your angling desires, From Walk & Wade, too Boat trips. Our Boats trips are done on a top of the line 20-22' Center Console Fishing Boat. All trips are all Inclusive, all we ask you to bring is your fishing license for the day of the trip and a pair of Polarized Sunglasses. My name is Sam Vasily and I am the Owner/Operator of The Sierra Troutdoorsman Guide Service. I was born in Bishop, Ca and have been luckily enough to spend most of my life living in the Eastern Sierras. I developed a passion for fishing at a young age. It wasn’t till the age of 16 that I started fly fishing, and it now has become my life long passion. Today at the age of 30, I enjoy sharing my passion and experiences with other anglers on the waters that I love to fish. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to be able to teach a unique sport in such a beautiful environment, and also to see people learn to catch and release the amazing fish in our area!

My name is Alex Fillmore and I am a proud guide for The Sierra Troutdoorsman Guide Service! I was born in Southern California where I spent a lot of my childhood fishing. Whether it was going to the ocean, fishing on my home lake or coming up to the beautiful Eastern Sierras! I’ve been fortunate enough to call the Sierras home now for the last 10 years. It wasn’t till I moved to Mammoth that I started fly fishing. It soon became my all consuming hobby and my biggest passion! I now get to enjoy sharing my passion with great people, while working with some of my best friends in the beautiful setting that is the Sierras! I hope to enjoy tight lines and great days on the water with you on your next trip!!

I first found my passion for fly fishing in the Eastern Sierra at a young age. Summer and fall months were spent along the Sierra Nevada range in pursuit of any fish I could fool. I never could have imagined all the places this sport would take me. Fly fishing has endless possibilities with pursuits of different species and locations. I find myself always looking for the next challenge and I throughly enjoy sharing this experience with as many anglers as possible. The Eastern Sierra will always be a special place for me no matter where I wander. Don't hesitate to get in touch and see where the fishing has taken me. I am always close to some good water.
